We got an introduction on Adobe After Effect and try to animate objects with it. Mr. Martin also gave some feedbacks about our photo manipulation task. Mr. Martin introduced our final project in the end of the class.
Week 8 (21/10/2022)
Independent Learning Week
Week 7 (14/10/2022)
Mr. Martin gave exercise on how to make like a cyborg thing and teach us the tool "Spot Healing Tool". We also started making our photo manipulation project.
INSTRUCTION
- Photo Manipulation
PROGRESS
Mr. Martin told us to think of an idea first. At first I though of making a portrait of myself. At first I was confused on what to make but Mr. Martin said that we only need to combine 2 things and make it like an illusion. So I think of combining a book and my laptop.

I used several tool like the masking and spot healing tool in this project. Although I would thank to a random youtuber who gives tips and tricks on using Photoshop. I found this "vanishing point" tool in the effect bar and it's really useful when I want to put the screen of my laptop to the book.

After showing this to Mr. Martin he told me that it works well, he just told me to give some shadow so I did.Fig 1.4 Final Submission
I did some lighting effect on the screen using the blur effeect and adjust the direction that it looks like it came from the screen. I used some blending tool on the laptop screen and the keyboard so it blend well with the color of the book page- Double Exposure
PROGRESS
Mr. Martin told us to find 3 double exposure work from Pinterest. We can choose any work that we like as long as it's a double exposure. To be honest, there's a lot of work that I like when I explore deep in Pinterest. In the end, I choose this 3 work that I like.

I begin to start making my double exposure by using images from Google. To be honest I used many images but I do it because I wanted to.

After receiving feedbacks, Mr. Martin said that what I made here is not a double exposure. Instead it's the final project for this semester, talk about lucky. Well in the end I did made a new double exposure and I guess this works. I did keep this as a sketch idea for my next project.

REFLECTION
Manipulating photo between 2 items is fun. You can basically make something and anyone would pretend there's nothing. I had some fun while making this work while listening to some banging music.
