PROJECT 2
Part 1 - Tiktok video
Ideas and Concepts
We had our first briefing for our project 2 in this week. Before we start doing the project, we first had to do write some idea for our video.

Yes I know, the moodboard is cringe. So basically my idea of the tiktok video is like showing my 2 sides of my character, one is the light and the other is the dark. I showed it to Mr. Martin and he thought that it's a cool concept. My next task now is to make a storyboard for the tiktok video. For this part, Mr. Martin has given us a template for the moodboard so we can just add stuff in the template.

It's hard for me to express how the storyboard is, but I was trying to make like something from this link https://youtu.be/ZRtdQ81jPUQ. After some weeks of planning, I decided to have a change of plan since the video needs to be recorded at campus. Instead I'll just make like a good old vlog of what I do in campus.
I started recording the footage at the start of Week 8 and I record whole of my tiktok video alone with the help of a tripod. Reasons I don't do this with my "friends" because they are "busy" and they got "other things" to do. So, I start taking the footages and at the day after I shoot all the footages I started to color edit them in Adobe Premiere Pro.

At Week 9, I decided to take some last footage and add it to my edited video where I have done it at Week 8. After I am done color editing the videos, I export it and now to make some transitions to each footage.

After I am done with the final version of the video, I submitted it to my Google Drive. I also uploaded it at Tiktok just in case if Mr. Martin wanted us to upload it at Tiktok.

Part 2 - Production Shooting
Preparation
In this task we are assigned to a group, our task is to recreate an existing trailer of choice (In this case, our group choose BEEF) and the production will be held at May 16th from 7am to 10am. After shooting, the footages that is shooted will be edited individually.

As a director, I am responsible for overseeing the creative aspects of a film, including controlling the content and flow of the film's plot. I also in charge of saying the "action" and "cut" when a production is starting. I am responsible at making the custom dialogue since we aren't allow to use the dialogue in the trailer.

The estimated time and lighting are planned by my assistant, Alicia.
Shooting
On the day of the shooting, we used the following location for our shootings:
- Classroom E1.08
- Second Floor, Hallway Bridge
- Block E, Ground Floor, Hallway
- Classroom E1.01 (Photography Studio)

After we're done shooting the footages we need, we transfer the footages to our laptop from the camera we are using at the shooting session and upload it into Google Drive so our groupmate could take them to edit it.
Editing
My plan for editing is to make like somehow a thriller trailer. So I edit the footages and color correct them to fit the vibe. I add some texts on the trailer using Adobe After Effect.

I added background music as a final touch to make the vibe in the trailer more threatening. Here's the background music I used in the trailer.

REFLECTION
In this project, I learnt that cooperation between members in the crew is important. Although I had to admit I hate doing task in group. No idea how many times I have repeated saying "I hate doing group projects" but yes. I had fun in editing footages I shoot in the tiktok video. In fact, I speedrunned this project just because I just wanted to have a healing time (in the end, I didn't healed myself enough). Now that Project 2 is done, I can finally prepared for what's next in this module. I am looking forward for the final project.
