Task 2 - User Journey Map
We formed into a group of three before we start brainstorming ideas for our app project. My group members are enlisted as:
- Glen Owen (0354952) [ME]
- Jennifer Huang (0352990)
- Justin Averill Prasetya (0355048)
We discussed on what kind of app we should make and that we have decided to make an app that helps people with mental health. In other words, a mental health tracking app. We start constructing some questions while also asking Mr. Hijjaz about it. Mr. Hijjaz said that some questions are no empathetic enough that we had to change some.
After we finish construct the question, we start sharing the questionnaire to our target audience. In the end, we managed to get 9 respondents but we only use 8.

From this result, I then began doing the user persona research and data analysis part of the task 2 while my two other teammate does the UX Requirements and UX User Flow.

Task 3 & 4 - Design Document & Prototype
As we all are done with task 2, we start doing the user journey flow on how our app should work. Here's the FigJam that we made while thinking of how our app should go and also make sure to follow the UX User Journey we made in Task 2.

We then start working on our lo-fidelity wireframe for our app. I did some minor work such as arranging and rearranging some elements in the wireframe.

After we're done with the lo-fi, we begin doing hi-fi where I did a lot of variation before Jennifer refined it to something better,

While doing this, I came up with the logo of our app. Since our color is more into calm and tranquil state, I thought of using a stork as a mascot.

After all is done, I then handled the writing part again for Task 3 and Task 4

REFLECTION
Throughout this project, I learnt that UX is somewhat fun in the making of the wireframe but tedious in the connecting user flow. If I may be honest, this is the only module I had worst experience not because of the module but more into how the module is handled by the lecturer. In addition, in our final presentation, one of our member (Justin) suddenly went missing-in-action, thus not presenting and leaving only me and Jennifer.
I'm very confused on why present using document when there's slideshow. Isn't that why slideshow exists in the first place? Not only that, I found some practical exercise in the class not too engaging and I think slides are really not necessary for this module. What I suggest instead of doing explanation on slides, it's better to just go to the point and do practical exercises that are more engaging and fun.
Anyway, thanks for the knowledge that the lecturer gave me. I will most probably use this knowledge when I do game UI/UX in case I have one in the future.
